i was tired already
running late
stumbled in the dark to put my clothes on
in my stupor set the brush down on the counter
and knocked bright red nail polish onto the floor
red red everywhere on the floor, the door, the cabinets
i cleaned up the glass
tried to clean up the polish
but had to get to work
iphone adapter didn't work in car so i couldn't even listen
to my music to cheer me up
stressful day ahead at work
with a less than stellar morning =
