we invited the whitakers over on sunday and it was so fun! we ate yummy treats and veggies and talked the night away. my favorite part of the evening was when little Ally went into my accessories room and saw my harajuku lovers Gwen and Love perfumes. she asked who they were and i told her that was an EXCELLENT question.
it also gave me an opportunity to get some projects done i have been putting off. i have all these great photos and things i have collected from my travels that i wanted to do something with other than keep them locked away in a box. i have also been wanting to make some inspiration boards for my workspace to remind me to work on doing great things with my life!
first i bought some framed corkboard. second, i found a small magnet board, bought a cheapy frame and i found some clear patterened paper to go under the frame and voila! cute magnet board.

don't you just love the egyptian mummy? i saw this in the british museum. i love the gold and the symmetry. i love the juxtaposition of classical and modern art: hence the stained glass window postcard by Chagall from the Union Pocatino church in Upstate New York.
this is the first time i was able to use my serving ware from my bridal shower
the whitakers introduced me to popcorn plus m&ms. deliciocious.
