i have been watching the bbc miniseries emma. i love jane austen's novel as well as this adaptation and the film with gwyneth paltrow.
like the great gatsby inspiration, i find a lot of inspiration from the fashion of jane austen's time. i definitely had this in mind as i designed my wedding dress. i also designed all my high school dance dresses and they all had a similar silhouette.
i just die with all the beautiful costumes from these two great productions! i love the grecian wrapping, the empire waists, the fashionable modesty, the puffed sleeves and long graceful sleeves. i love the wrapped grecian hair. i love it all!

I didn't know you DESIGNED your dress!!!! THAT'S AWESOME!!!! But then again, totally not surprising... it's YOU YOU YOU-- absolutely gorgeous!!!
