looking for the bright point

so as i previously mentioned i have been very sick with pneumonia. i went in to the doctor last night and they said that if anything went wrong at all during the night to go straight to the ER. we had a some scary signs so last night we ended having to go to the emergency room. i have never been before and all i can say is: no. fun.

they had to do multiple tests on me and i felt like i was being poked and prodded to no end. not to mention the iv in my hand was KILLING me the entire time and the spot where they entered still hurts. we went in before 4 and didn't get out until after 7. i don't even want to think about the bill......

but the good thing is everything turned out alright. i am still super sick and feel most definitely crummy but they didn't find anything seriously wrong with me.

i hate being sick and dizzy and nauseous and cooped up all day and exhausted and there was some pivotal stuff at work that is too bad i missed. the ironic thing is is that this pneumonia is coming on top of some other health problems i was having earlier this week so i have been feeling disgusting and have been and out of doctors all week!

you can only sleep so much and i am just about tv'd out - so i have a feeling i am going to be doing a lot of fake online shopping!! (i guess i could use this time to write in my journal or something, hmmmm....must do)

luckily sam didn't have to go into work until this afternoon so he got to get some sleep after being up all night.

i am so glad i have sam!!! i can't imagine what i would have done if this happened when i was single!! who would take me to the hospital? who's hand would i squeeze when they put the IV in? who would wrap me up in yet another blanket and remind me when to take my medicine and then bring me water? sams a rockstar to say the least.

my family and friends have been so nice too. all the calls of encouragement and offers of help mean a lot.

p.s. LOVED alice. I read a bad review from the times and so went in with no expectations, sam had really high expectations and was a little dissapointed. Besides Anne Hathaway bugging the hell out of me, i really liked it. my favorite part besides the mad hatter was alice's evolving wardrobe.

p.p.s. what do you guys think of the new ANTM line up? i like the look of the weirdo girl they brought in in NYC and i think the plus size model is gorgeous they are my favorite so far. i can't believe there is already drama.
